I found this video interesting as it does not choke you with a bunch of dull rules or facts. Instead I found the pictures useful as they expressed some of the most important aspect of narrative (personal) writing while still keeping your attention. Partnered with the funky music, this video had the best balance between being informative and exciting out of the 15 clips that I watched.
Love this one too - has many of the tips we talk about as "never Evers" to avoid. You're right - not a lecturing tone but the song is inspirational - inviting the viewer to give writing a try.
